Stephen E. Ross, CPA - Rudler, PSC

For as long as he can remember, Stephen (Steve) Ross has enjoyed analyzing, organizing and critical thinking around numbers.

As a member of Rudler, PSC’s team of accountants, that knowledge continues to provide those he serves with high quality service and innovative thinking to propel their businesses.

A CPA with 20-plus years’ of public accounting experience, Steve earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University. He joined Rudler, PSC following its merger with his previous firm, Scott E. Grosser, PSC CPAs, in Nov. 2019.

Established in his primary role as a tax consultant, he enjoys working with closely held businesses, where he finds he has much to offer in order to help them achieve and maintain tax-related goals and find processes to help increase productivity and efficiencies. His business tax experience includes various service industries, flow-through entities, manufacturing and multi-state taxation. His individual tax experience includes all areas of personal taxation, executive compensation and the usage of trusts in personal tax and estate planning. He has extensive experience in all area of tax compliance, correspondence with various taxing authorities and tax planning. Steve feels he brings the greatest value to a relationship through good communication, individual and business tax planning and ongoing consulting.

A native of Northern Kentucky, he enjoys his time away from the office relaxing with his wife Maura and their four children (two boys, two girls). A fan of the great outdoors, he enjoys fishing and sand volleyball in his spare time. His love of volleyball served (no pun intended) him well as EKU’s Club Volleyball Vice President in college, and currently as a volunteer coach at St. Pius X Catholic School in Edgewood, where he and his family reside.
