We are excited to announce the expansion of our leadership team with the promotion of Alex Weidner, CPA, CFE, from Supervisor to Shareholder; and the promotion of Chris Guidugli, CPA, from Supervisor to Shareholder. Effective July 1, 2017, their promotions bring the Firm’s number of shareholders to eight. We view both Alex and Chris as instrumental for pursuing our Firm’s vision for professional, technological and financial growth.
Since they were both hired in 2007, Alex and Chris have been instrumental in a number of internal initiatives. Alex helped our Firm transition to a mostly paperless office while still an intern, which made it an easy decision to offer him a full-time position upon his graduation in 2010. Since then, he has been involved in leading our technology improvement efforts as well as our co-op program to attract and retain talent. He also obtained his Certified Fraud Examiner designation, and now lends his talent to litigation support as well as industry standards to help people protect their personal identities and reduce the risk of fraud in business.
Chris has made our accounting and auditing team stronger as a training lead and also by improving our internal audit processes to support efficient and accurate financial statement audits, not-for-profit audits and employee benefit audits. He is a valued advisor to closely held businesses and not-for-profits. In the community, he leads a not-for-profit organization and is active in a young professionals group.
“Alex and Chris represent our future, not only because they are talented professionals, but also because they demonstrate a strong commitment to building our team and giving back to the community,” said Mike Lenihan, CPA, managing shareholder at Rudler. “They have proven that a young person can pursue and obtain a leadership position here while still having a great life outside of work. We’re excited about what that means for the future at Rudler.”
