Greg started college as a finance major but found his true calling in accounting after becoming treasurer of his fraternity – he discovered that the books were a mess. However, he loved the challenge the situation presented, which drove him in the direction of accounting. He then took a few tax courses one summer at the University of Cincinnati, which solidified that passion. In the end, he graduated with a double major in finance and accounting from The Ohio State University (OSU).

In his role as tax partner, Greg manages relationships with clients and works to solve their business challenges and identify underlying issues that need to be addressed.

For Greg, it’s about taking knowledge and expertise from one client or situation and being able to apply it elsewhere. One of his favorite parts of the job is tax compliance and planning, which is also his specialty. He loves to review changes to tax laws in order to find new opportunities for his clients.

Greg has a love of sports – in fact, in high school he played goalie for two state championship ice hockey teams. He also coaches his son’s youth baseball team. This love of coaching led him to appreciate the mentor-mentee role he plays at Rudler, where he motivates others to succeed. He works with the team to build skills and demonstrate professionalism, knowing that a stronger team equals stability and happier clients.

In his free time, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 23 years and two children. Being a sports fanatic, he watches and supports the Reds, Bengals, and OSU Buckeyes. In addition to coaching his son’s baseball team, Greg also enjoys watching his daughter perform with her dance team.
