A Message From Our President

COVID-19 Coronavirus Information

To our Clients and Friends:

As we continue to respond to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak and Orders being issued by the Kentucky Governor, our top priority is to protect the health of our team, their families, our clients, and our community, while continuing to provide exceptional client service with limited disruption.

In light of orders issued from the Kentucky Governor, we are eliminating all access to our office to clients, visitors, and third-party vendors effective today. As such, we are requesting that you submit your documents and materials electronically to the extent possible. If you need assistance in creating either a secure client portal or encrypted email, please contact our office. If you cannot submit your tax documents electronically, please utilize mail services or delivery services when possible. If you would like to schedule a phone meeting with your Rudler advisor, please do not hesitate to call them. We believe this will enable us to satisfy your expectations and business needs while adhering to safety guidelines and the Governor’s orders.

As we have stated in prior communications, the filing deadline has been extended to July 15th, but we are committed to continuing the level of service you have come to expect. As additional guidance and information is made available regarding filling deadlines and the Federal Stimulus package, we will communicate the impact to you.

With this being said, Kentucky has stated that late payment penalties will be waived for income tax payments deferred from April 15, 2020 to July 15, 2020. However, interest still applies to the deferred income tax payments because Kentucky law prohibits the waiver of interest. Your Rudler advisor will work with you to help determine the impact this may have on you.

Thank you for your continued understanding as we make decisions that we think are best for our team and clients. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Stay Safe and Healthy!

Very truly yours,

Alex Weidner, CPA, CFE
